Sometimes when I'm in class a guy will just ask me the dumbest question like ';why do you have smartwater in your bag?';Why do teenage guys sometimes ask girls irrelevant questions?

they want to talk to a girl but have no idea what to say. it does work sometimes because you eventually move on to talk about something thats worth talking about. guys are dumb
He, (in my opinion) likes you. He's not sure what to say to you so he states the obvious. Guys are nerds.
Because they want to chat or have a laugh.
