What does a regular teenage girl expects from a guy in a relationship?

talking about the age of 17 yr olds here...gimme some hints :DWhat does a regular teenage girl expects from a guy in a relationship?
For them to be trustworthy (not cheat) and to have fun with them.

It's basically the same as with any other women. Except if she's crazy.. then she'll want you to marry her (which isn't something a teenage girl should ever expect). What does a regular teenage girl expects from a guy in a relationship?
Every woman enters a relationship with all kinds of expectations. Some of this expectations are quite normal while others are quite exaggerated. However, there are general things that women want and expect in a relationship. They expect a man to be loving. Loving enough to be able to show it and tell them that they love them. Though to you it might seem stupid and that you are with them and that is enough proof that you love them, women expect to be told and reminded once in a while that they are loved. Get them a gift or a flower and a card and tell them that you love them and appreciate them.

In a relationship, a woman expects to be listened to. Sometimes they could be having a very important point that you will miss if you do not listen to her. Some men have the tendency of saying women are not bright and they are far much better off quiet than talking. This is not true, there are bright women out there, in fact some are brighter than most men. When she talks and tries to make you see a point listen and if you do not see the point she is making you can tell her in a polite way. The most important part is that you listen. If you are having a conversation with her, do not appear to be the one who keeps talking, give her a chance to air her views about something. She also has views you should know.

Women in a relationship expects that a man will be able to create time for her. A man should never be too busy to see his own girlfriend. if you do all these, you will be surprised how you relationship will change from better to excellent.
um i personally look for someone that can be there when i need them to be not just over the phone when i need to talk but physically as well.

um...if its at the point in the relationship for sex you must make her comfortable (no brain-er) show that you have at least a little bit of an idea of what your doin (doesnt necessarily mean experience). You must be open, set up a relationship so that she can come to you with anything and you not get upset and even when your upset show her that you can calmly talk out the situation....girls want so much. Girls want someone that can keep them on there toes but not so spontanious that you get to the point of not planning things out all the time, someone who she will never get bored with even if they just spend a night in the house. Someone she can have both stupid and intelligent conversations with.......there is just too much to list lol girls want the world but unfortunatly you cant give that to them just try your best lol.
a great mystery of the universe , but try these on for size..

to not be a jerk, use them or abuse them, be fun, funny, exciting, not boring, give them their time and some space of their own when needed, be on time most of the time, call back within a reasonable time if they call you, always show up if you say you're gonna show up , or call if you can't make it. do not cheat, or say another girl is better, prettier, smarter etc, than he one you're dating. make them a little jealous here and there to keep them guessing and on their toes, always play and bust on them and not be so serious all the time, have a bad boy like attitude and behavior but always be kind to them at the same time. not arrogant.

here are the bad boy traits you must know .most girls like these in a guy. even young ones.

Bad Boys are independent.

They lead their own lives and fit women into their schedule,

not the other way around. Women, by nature, want what they can't

have--and bad boys present a challenge and sense of mystery.

Bad Boys are decisive.

They're never wishy-washy. Women love a man who isn't afraid

to lead; a leader who confronts situations is a man who is

capable of fulfilling the most core female need, which is to

feel protected. You'll never hear a bad boy say, ';So do you

want to hang out sometime?'; Or, ';what do you feel like doing

tonight?'; Bad boys are men on the move. They've always got plans

in motion. And women want to go along for the ride.

Bad boys don't wear their emotions on their sleeve.
They expect to be respected and to have privacy. It always helps to be a good listener. Also when it comes to sex they want to be the first to ask. Pleading doesn't usually help your cause. Girls can be bitchy sometimes so they want you to understand their bad days. They want to be comfortable with you and free to be themselves. Trust is also a key aspect of a relationship... Don't violate it.

Good luck!
Well.

She expects him to communicate.

%26amp; don't be afraid to show affection in public, because if you dont, she might end up thinking you are embarrassed to be with her.

Answer mine VV
i would want from my boyfriend love. that's it. love. to be more specific, i'd want him to call me early in the morning on my birthday. i'd want him to buy me chocolates and flowers. and i'd want him to show me off to his friends. i'd want him to tell me i'm beautiful when i'm not. i'd want him to protect me against anything that might harm me. i'd want him to hug tight when i cry. but i would not want him wanting more and more and getting greedy. i'd want him to be tender with me and try to understand me. i'd want him to come and check on me if i were sick. i'd want him to help me with hw, and all that kind of stuff. as you probably know already, you shouldn't cheat on the girl. that's obvious. there's so much i would want from my boyfriend but i can't write them all. just think what you want from your boyfriend if you were a girl.
you might want to elaborate a TEENSY bit here, how long have you known her? how do you know her? how often do you get to see her?

she wants you to tell your honest feelings, don't hide them. BUT that is not an excuse to tell her mean things or just spew your sarcasm and cynicism everywhere. Be careful with this. Just communicate with her.

Also, she probably wants to do ';coupley'; things together. as simple as getting coffee together, or going to a movie on friday or staying in and renting one. it really depends on what type of things she's into though.

Lastly, it never hurts to ask. It's actually a really positive step to take in a relationship, just to ask her what her expectations are (and if for some stupid reason she says something about long term commitment, don't get too freaked out...she's 17. Us girls think we want something, and sometimes we change our minds. That said, if she says she doesn't know, maybe give her some suggestions like the ones above. Ask her if she wants to be ';boyfriend %26amp; girlfriend'; as cheesy as that sounds.

A lot of this depends on her, and definitely on her maturity level, if she's stuck in the high school world, it probably won't be that difficult of a relationship...then again, high schoolers love their drama.

i'm ranting. hopefully some of this helped! good luck!
yeah, like the other person said everyoone is different.

If you were a teenage girl, a rapist raped you. You try to kick them away, but he blocked it. How would u feel

probably defeated and sad because he's doing something I don't want him to do and I can't get him away. I'd be mad because he isn't listening to me, and maybe mad at myself for getting into the mess. I'd be disapointed for letting it happen and that I let my family and friends down. I'd feel scared and guilty and blame it all on me. I'd think that no one would understand and I wish that it wouldn't of ever happened to me.If you were a teenage girl, a rapist raped you. You try to kick them away, but he blocked it. How would u feel
I would feel valuated, angry that I couldn't protect my self. It a pity that he blocked you. Go to karate school so you will be able to protect your self better.I hope you reported to the police or told your parents- grandparents. You really need to talk to someone. I hope this help. Just remember if you are being attacked anything goes, the face is good area to attack finger to the eyes, ears, open hands to each side of ear in a slap, nose punch up with the palm of hand bended open. private area grab twist as hard as you can. GOOD LUCK!If you were a teenage girl, a rapist raped you. You try to kick them away, but he blocked it. How would u feel
weak and vilolated
Words cant describe how I would feel. Prob sad, alone, hurt, angry, depressed, dirty and the list goes on. This is a odd question to ask. If you were the girl, please go to the police and talk to someone about it.
not exactly sure wat your asking

Anyone know any good Teenage Horror books?

I'm studying horror books for graphics design, but I don't know any good horror books that will actually interest me! i need some that also have a good front cover, so anyone got any suggestions?Anyone know any good Teenage Horror books?
How about the Darren Shan books? One series is about vampires, the other is about Demons .... if you're looking for books with graphic front covers then you should definatley look at the Demon series!!

Google 'Darren Shan' 'Lord Loss' :)Anyone know any good Teenage Horror books?
Hmm....I wish I knew a lot more, I love horror but haven't read anything great recently.

All I can think of are:

House by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker (The book is fathoms better than the movie, which was complete nonsensical rubbish.)

    or

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. I haven't actually read this yet, but it's been on my ';to-do'; list. I've heard it quite good.

    Hope that helped some.
Darren Shan - a must read. Not too horrifically graphic but well described all the way through - places, events, people. Front covers are good too. There are more series by the same author - all with great front covers. They have been out long enough to be got from a library.
i use to like the teenager horror books 'point horror' they had all kinds of different stories and covers on their books. if adult books are more for u how about stephen king?

Can Someone please make me a thesis statement for me about teenage pregnacy?

its for my homework and i need help ....please helpCan Someone please make me a thesis statement for me about teenage pregnacy?
    Here you go:

'; Abstaining is the only certain way to prevent teenage pregnancy.';Can Someone please make me a thesis statement for me about teenage pregnacy?
I dont know what a thesis statement is but i can make an intro:

Tears, streaming rapidly, the new mother, unaware and unable to contain her emotions, freezes. He walks away, fleeing with her hopes, dreams, and desires. Her whole life is gone, just like that, but another life will come. Teenage pregnacy can ruin a life, but at the same time, bring more life. When teenagers tell their father-to-be that they are pregnant, normally the men walk away. If the pregnant teenager is unable to afford an abbortion, then the teenager must give up school, and chances of getting a job. Teenage pregnacy effects are mostly negative, but can also bring derison, like a new life and purpose.
I know how hard it is to come up with a thesis sometimes but if you look at what a thesis is its easier

    ~A thesis is a three part summary of what your about to talk about in your essay/paper which means its just telling everbody in one three part sentence ';this is what I'm going to talk about and this is my opinion on it!';

    hope this helps

    ~ALYSSA
Well, I do not think it is very good to be pregnant as a teenager, becauese, one: your parents will most likely be very angry at you,Two: Your body might not be ready for it.But mostly because of the pain. And three: It would be too much of a challenge to take care of the baby at a young age, but some people are ready at a young age,So technically, this would only be my opinion and you do not have to take my answer. But you would also have great depression if the baby died during or after birth. Trust me, I know. ( but not because it happened to me, it happened to my friend's mom. )
uhm...i just did a thesis statment project so mabey i could scratch something up...hmm well if you think teen pregnancy is a bad thing then say, teenage prenancy is a bad thing because you dont have enough money to supply the baby with a good enviorment, enough food, enough clothes, and heath expenses, let me know if that helped
Would changing the way sex is taught in public schools drop the rate of teenage pregnacy? Yes, because reason 1, reason 2, and reason 3.

THe thesis is the basis for your paper so i suggest you write your own or someone else will be deciding what your paper that you have to write is about.
Although teen pregnancy is an ongoing problem, there are many ways to make it less a less occuring incidence through sex education programs and school activities educating teens about consequences associated with unprotected sex.

I don't know what the paper is focused on but here is one thesis
What about teenage pregnancy? That's a main component of a thesis.

A thesis statement is basically a summation of what your paper will be about. A couple of sentences is all you need really.
i think you are in the habit of asking such help. you want all the work done by others and then you will put your autograph over it.

thesis is not a statement.it has about 5---10 steps. you want us to write all for you. what a funny idea
what would you like to say about teenage pregnancy?

like the average human numbers of girls that get pregnant are the highest in the teen zone or like people getting abortions? need to be more specific
if teenagers did not engage in sexual activitys then pregnacy would not be a worry.

i think thats a ';thesis'; statement, haha.
Well it depends what side you're on.

I'm going to guess you're against it and say

    ';Teen pregnancy is becoming a trend that many girls unwillingly fall into.';

idk. If you dont like it im sorry.
    ';Teen pregnacy should be considered as an act committed by a willing adult, therefore the pregnant person should assume all responsibilities for her actions';
you should always love your baby and always care for it. you know you will always love it and care for it no matter what
Teenage prgnancy is becomeing an epodemic, alot of teens dont realize that having sex is taking on a whole lot of responibility that 99.(% of them are not ready for.
I can't make one for you because I haven't read your paper. Your thesis statement should be a sentence that just about sums up what your mainly writing on.
    ';Teen pregnancy is awesome';
    thesis statement:

    ';Teenage pregnancy is the number one reason teens have babies';
do your homework, you won't learn anything by having other people do it
How 5 minutes of pleasure ruined my life.
Teen Pregnancy is a growing problem here in the US.

    Hope I helped!
Well lets start with the birds and the bees.....
if a girl gets pregnant at a young age then shes a whore.

What books are good teenage historical fiction books?

What kind of gift is appropriate when giving to the teenage daughter of a boyfriend?

I would say a scrapbook kit, a CD, or a gift card to her favorite store, maybe Hot Topic or whatever the kids go to shop these days. Or, you can just give a gift card to your local mall, that is always a good gift. What kind of gift is appropriate when giving to the teenage daughter of a boyfriend?
Go for something girly. The Body Shop lotions, Victoria's Secret or Bath and Body Works.

Also I'm a huge fan of anything I get from American Eagle. Depends on her style. Check out her closet if you can and see what brands and sizes she likes.

If you can afford it and she needs one an IPOD is a great gift.

    There's a lot of DVD's out!

But make it pretty. What kind of gift is appropriate when giving to the teenage daughter of a boyfriend?
    gift card
I would say a book (if she likes to read) a CD (if you know what kind of music she likes) or a gift card (which is probably your best bet :) try target or best buy for the gift card, or maybe a store you know she likes to shop at.

    hope this helps!

I suggest Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash to try and get it in the liquid soap form due to bars of soap are hard to keep clean and sanitized. What's a good acne face wash for mild teenage acne?
Hey! Well from my experiences, facial washes don't really do anything. Your diet affects a lot from how your skin looks to how you feel. I started drinking 2000ml + of water everyday and eating 5 fruits and veg a day. I never really had bad skin, just occasional breakouts and since I've been doing this my skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom. It sounds so simple, which is why I think most people don't believe it works but drinking water actually flushes out the toxins in your body. That is the best and most natural treatment for acne imo.

P.s Dont take my word for it, just try it for a month and you'll notice a difference. Google too :]
I started using Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit: http://www.cleanandclear.com/productDetail.do?productid=54%26amp;productpos=0

    You can see it there.

I was using Proactive but my skin quickly built up an immunity to it.

Which it will do with all Acne medications and face washes.

Clean %26amp; Clear has worked for me but I also started taking a birth control and that helps with my acne ALOT.
Cetaphil daily facial cleanser for oily skin its very gentle and mild on skin great for mild acne.

also Biore ice face cleanser is very good it leaves skin with fresh feeling.

it helps to eliminate pimples for a more smoother skin.
I am using the cetaphil daily facial cleanser is great my skin is less oily and my acne is way better . I drink water 8 glasses , fruits , I use a gentle scrub and take omega 3 to heal my skin inside .
    Cetaphil Gentle Daily Cleanser :)

I'm a teenage girl . Just turned 14 , and I am looking for ideas so I can redecorate my room . Help me ?

I can't figure out wat kind of designs to do on my walls . I'm kinda going for lime green and pink for the colors , but I'm not sure . I know I want my room to be bright and cheerful . I've been looking for ideas for awhile and can't think of anything . I just don't know what to do with my room !I'm a teenage girl . Just turned 14 , and I am looking for ideas so I can redecorate my room . Help me ?
This question is great because you're just like me!!! When I changed my room, I moved around my furniture (new look) and made some changes. I painted my walls bright green and got a new bed comforter, etc. My comforter is a big fluffy white one, with pink and white stripped sheets and pillows. I also have solid pink sheets with flowers too for when I change them and a pink blanket (matching the sheets) folded at the foot of my bed. You are on the right track because it looks ADORABLE!!! I went to the Container Store, and I bought all kinds of lime green and pink (more pink since the walls are green) decorations in my room such as polka-dot boxes for stuff and baskets. I have shelves up on the walls near my ceiling that have flower indentation trimming on them. Me and my dad painted it white and where the indents are with all the flowers, we filled it in with lime green. It looks great and I have all these little trinkets up there that I've loved since I was little, but the new way of displaying them makes it look more mature. I also have a big fluffy white beanbag thrown into my room too, which is super cool and pictures in frames of all my horses on the walls to take the place of all my little-kid posters. I'm fifteen so I'm extremely satisfied with it. Everyone always tells me that my room is so cheerful and sunny- which is exactly what you are looking for! Go pink and green!!! :) Good luckkk!!! =]I'm a teenage girl . Just turned 14 , and I am looking for ideas so I can redecorate my room . Help me ?
I'm not sure what you should do, but I'll tell you now that you shouldn't get lime green! I decorated my room lime green when I was nine (I actually liked it then); I'm 16 now and I HATE it! Trust me, you get sick of it verrrrrry quickly...
You can paint your whole room bright pink and then when friends come over they can paint on your walls with green paint. They can paint pictures or messages, whatever they want as long as its in green. Really fun to do when friends come over. Fun to look back at when you get older and your friends can leave you secret messages to read later!!
    polka dot

pink walls green dots or the other way a around
My room is lime green and hot pink, with yellow base boards, I love it. Walking in to it makes me so happy!

I just painted the opposite walls the same colours (I ended up with 2 pink walls and 2 green walls) with no designs, so I could hang colourful pictures/posters.

All of my accessories are pink and green, my bed spread is white with rows of different sized and coloured dots on it (every colour, including hot pink and lime green).

I also replaced my ugly closet doors with pink and green curtains, so cute.

I got all of my accessories from Ikea, Wal-Mart, Sears and The Bay.

I hope this gives you some ideas!
do a beach theme thats fun
this is an example off of ebay when i typed in lime green and pink comfort set.

sounds like you're looking for a happy, cheerful place

to hang out and relax. i would recommend doing light

lime walls and doing an accent wall with lime and pink

vertical stripes. you should try white or tan furniture with

a lot of pink accent pieces. good luck, hope i helped.
i didnt do my room from anything from here but omg i love its kinda overpricyu but it is so CUTE!!!!

    www.pbteen.com
    here are some ideas:

    1. Do your room in dramatic red, white, and black with lots of modern shapes and styles.

    2. Do it in fiery colors. Once upon a time, you weren't supposed to use hot pink and orange together, but the 1960s changed all that. Many teens love the intensity of these saturated tropical color combinations. Adding vibrant colors to your space has become a timeless decorating idea. As exciting as they are, hot colors can be wonderfully livable. Just balance areas of dazzling color with areas of white, another neutral, or a pale tint of one of your hot colors.

Funky flowers are a great motif for this color scheme, but just about any motif your teen enjoys can be worked into a one-of-a-kind design. Florals are just the start of what you can find in today's contemporary fabrics, wallcoverings, and accessories, so let your girl shop for her current favorites. Balance busy prints with areas of solid color to create visual breathing room.

    3. You can do a beach or ocean theme. Get lots of blues, greens, purple, white...hang surfboards on the wall, have bleached-white furniture...

    4. To change the ocean theme a bit, do a nautical style. Mix in lots of light blue, gold, navy, and white. Make your room seem like a grand ocean liner.

    5. If you are into elegant French-ish stuff, try this. Use lots of yellow and baby blue, and gorgeous fabric draped everywhere. If you can, get a canopy bed and an old-fashioned dressing table. The key to elegance is detailed like stencils on the furniture.

There are tons of other ideas out there, so just look online and type ';teen room ideas'; or s omething like that into the search engine. Good Luck!
well, i personally think that pink and orange look really pretty togather- they're both bright, cheerful and girly, so u might want to consider it for ur walls instead of lime green?
Take hundreds of pictures [ I mean hundreds!!] and go to the photoshop. Pick the pictures you like most and print them out [ trust me you won't print all, only the most precious ones]. Go to a local art shop and buy big construction papers. Decorate them with insiders you share with your freinds, descriptions, etc. Glue pictures onto it and post these papers onto your wall. I got mine laminated so they last. =) ohhh and have your room painted in the color you want!! [ before gluing posters on]
i am also 14 and wish to do that with my room, same colours as well. My personal favourite was the bedsheets found on this site http://www.sweetpeachesbedding.com/twist鈥?/a>

if u scroll down the page u can see various other products to order that match the bed and your theme. Good luck!
Im almost 13 and my room is pink and blue. What i think you should do is paint 2 of the walls pink and then the other 2 light green. And on the walls you should put canvas of pink and red flowers and put your own collages that u made on some cardboard and nail that on the wall. Its always good to put your own made decoration on the walls. Hope i can help.
    pink and blue
they are the same colours as my room!

i did a white doona cover with lime green sheets and pillowcases. and a pink + green decoration pillow for my bed. i had light green feature wall and from there i did totally modern.

Is it possible to develop Asthma in the the teenage years, without having it when younger?

Mine kicked in around.... 11. I was really REALLY skinny ( I was seriously underweight until about 16.. I'm talkin I could eat ANYTHING and I was 90lbs and 5'9 until I was 16) I was a cross country runner, about 5 km a day or more, track, soccer, EVERYTHING. Then one day I couldnt breathe at track, and BAM, I had athsma! Is it possible to develop Asthma in the the teenage years, without having it when younger?
Yes, asthma is something which can develop at any age, regardless of whether or not someone had it as a child. I have a brother who has had it for most of his life, but who wasn't diagnosed with it until he was in his early teen years. I have also known other people who developed the disease as adults, when it can be very serious.

Adult onset asthma is treated in the same ways juvenile or childhood asthma is. Is it possible to develop Asthma in the the teenage years, without having it when younger?
Yes. My mother developed asthma when she was in her 50's. If you think you have asthma, then you need to see a doctor about it. It can be very serious, but there are lots of treatments.
Yes you can. Along with other things such as diabetes.
YES! My husband never had Asthma as a child and developed it in his late 20s
Yes, even later on in life
    yeah

I would like to do know your view on teenage pregnancy.?

I would like to just hear some peoples views on teenage pregnancy and how it effects our society today. I would also like to know some of your views on teenagers engaging in sexual activities. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.I would like to do know your view on teenage pregnancy.?
I feel like if i teenager is ready to engage in sexual intercourse then it is ok, but protection does need to be used as a precaution. As for my views on teen pregnancy, i generally don't think that teens getting pregnant is appropriate because of a teenagers lack of many qualities necessary to care for a child. I think that teens are meant to try new things and a time for teens ';find themselves';, and when a teen becomes pregnant they are forced to grow up. A teen being pregnant is also medically dangerous, because teens are still developing until their late teens. I also feel that while a teen is still in school and growing into an adult, they need to focus and live in a somewhat stress free environment, which makes a teen unable to care for a child and tend to all of a child's needs. A good percentage of teenagers also don't have a steady income or he material goods to provide to a child. Teens also have a future ahead of them, and having a baby that early can change their whole lives. However, if a teen is able to provide for a child then it is more acceptable for a teen to have a child.I would like to do know your view on teenage pregnancy.?
I'm reading a book called The Human Zoo by Desmond Morris. It helped me understand teenage pregnancy. Morris explains that in a super-tribe, the pressures placed on everyone living so close together and in such a dense population that primal biological needs can be overwhelming. By living a super-tribe, humans have to work a lot harder to be accepted by their peers and placed in a certain status according to their own individual personality. However, if we are each taught from birth the consequences of such actions, the chance of a teen becoming pregnant can drop.

I hate that so many teenagers become pregnant these days. I didn't have my first child until I was 27. I was married first, too. I was able to plan it this way and stay responsible because I came from a stable home with two married parents. I think it helped me strive to be like them and not disappoint them by becoming a teenage mother.

Becoming a mom is hard. Most freedoms are gone, unless you're lucky and can find a babysitter so that you can go out once-in-a-while. My husband works two jobs so I can stay home with the kids and we don't always get to go out together. Our freedoms as a single couple is gone, also, at least until the kids get older. I'm also in college about to graduate in a year or so. That was the only thing in my ';plan'; that was put on hold!
As for the PHYSICAL aspect of teenage pregnancy - it is completely normal. Menstruation occurs when the body is PHYSICALLY ready to carry a child, but we all know this already. Society has changed in such a way, however, that it takes much longer to grow up emotionally - if at all. I see many 30, 40 and 50 year olds who are so immature, self-righteous and ignorant that they never should have had children to begin with. Alternatively, I've met plenty of teenage parents who did a fine job of relating to and garnering respect from their children. It's ignorant to say that ALL TEENAGERS are unprepared for the job of parenthood and ALL ADULTS are; it varies from person-to-person not age-to-age.
I don't try to judge people, I was a teenage mom and we all turned out just fine. I do however think there is a line that needs to be drawn when we get down to 13 year olds having babies with 18 year olds, I think then it is a little too early for them to be deciding if a family is necessary but who am I to judge someone else and the way they live their lives

What is the best cleanser for spots on a teenage face?

This is what I do and use: In the Mornings I use Apricot Scrub: Invigorating. Afterwards I follow with putting some Boots No7 Soft %26amp; Soothed Toner on a slightly damp cotton pad and waiting for it to dry completely, and then put on a doctor prescribed medication. Once a week, instead of using Apricot Scrub, I use the Mask part of Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask then follow with my regular routine. Every night before going to bed I use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Cleanser with Microclear Technology and continue with using Boots No7 Soft %26amp; Soothed Toner and the doctor prescribed medication.

Almost everything I have, I bought at Target. These are the prices:

    Apricot Scrub: Invigorating: ~$4.00

    Boots No7 Soft %26amp; Soothed Toner: ~$8.00

    Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask: ~$8.00

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Cleanser with Microclear Technology: ~$8.00

  • Christmas gift for hard to please mom from a teenage daughter?

My mom is VERY hard to shop for. I also need cheap things, I'm 13, short on cash.

    She is 51.

How about giving the local library a donation in honor of your mother? You can decide how much to spend, and it is difficult to get upset about a gift that will give pleasure to countless others.
World Peace, no Racism, no terrorism, stop all the hate and evil and bring peace and love worldwide for everyone, no hungry and starving people, no poor people, no killing animals and their homes for no or very little reasons, no more trashing the planet, no more gangs and evil groups, just peace and love worldwide. You might want to try using PriceYeti (http://www.priceyeti.com) to help you track your items while you're shopping online. It gives you a watchlist to manage your products across multiple sites and then notifies you if any of their prices drop. Maybe browse around, track a couple items, and pick the best ones afterwards (or when the price drops).

How can a teenage girl get rid of extra fat/weight on her thighs, hips, and breasts?

Exercise and eat a properly balanced diet - there is no silver bullet and you can't ';spot'; reduce

I am a teenage boy of 16 years .But,I have a small growth in my chest & it looks like small breast. How to cure?

Please help me.I am a teenage boy of 16 years .But,I have a small growth in my chest %26amp; it looks like small breast. How to cure?
start doing things to lose weight or build muscle massI am a teenage boy of 16 years .But,I have a small growth in my chest %26amp; it looks like small breast. How to cure?
alright so basically you have to eliminate any fatty substances that you take in. eat loads of meat. like steak, beef, fish, chicken.. etc you need to take in protein so you can build your muscles. lay off the snack cakes and ice cream. i absolutely know how delightful it is to indulge yourself in sweets but you must refrain. it will only get worse if you dont start fixing it now. basically you should try to get more exercise and do push ups when ever you can. its always good to go to a gym and target those muscles directly but your still in school so i know it can be tough.

    10 push ups a day

    drink milk

    eat protein

    NO FAT

walk/jog/run an extra mile a day.

    good luck and happy holidays!
If the area around your nipples is enlarging a bit, or puffy looking, that is normal and happens to lots of teens due to hormone changes. But if you have a growth somewhere else on the chest, show your parent or guardian, you need it checked out.
Although it may be a matter of excess weight, I doubt it. Contact a medical professional.

i am SO GLAD you aren't one of those typical high school couples. I didn't want to date anyone from my school because i was so sick of those boys too.

i think sometimes the littlest things can do wonders. For instance, maybe you guys can go up to a place where the two of you could cuddle and enjoy a night scenery. Sometimes a walk in the park or a picnic would be nice too. If you two don't have a relationship ring, you two can consider getting one. it's not too expensive and you can engrave it to make it more meaningful. my ring is the most important thing i have on me right now and it really pushed my relationship to another level. If you want to be a little bit homey, you can rent a movie and just watch it together etc. If you guys haven't played the ';what would you do'; game, you guys should try it and you two can learn even more about each other. You can make up a scenario and ask her how she would react to the situation or ask her something that reveals a little more about her perspective on life and people in general. Sometimes relationships become a bore (i've been with my bf for a little bit over 2 years) but try not to think about it negatively. It just means that you two are stable, which can be good (:

i hope this helps (: good luck !
    Have you tried asphyxiation errotica??

Can someone help me out with a really good teenage book?

Okay im trying to get back in reading more and i dont know if there is a genre for the type of books i like but... I like books that are based on the past looking into the future or books based on the future looking back into the past. A recent book i read was a book called The Last Book in the Universe. Which sorta looks back at what we have now that may be extinct in the future which is what im looking for in a book. Any suggestions please post. ThanksCan someone help me out with a really good teenage book?
Holly Black is a great teenage author. Here are two of her books:

    Ironside: A Modern Faery's Tale

Valiant: A Modern Tale of Faerie

Also Jodi Lynn Anderson is great. Here are 3 titles from her:

    Peaches

    The Secret of Peaches

    Love and Peaches

You also might like James Patersons Maximum Ride series or Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series.

If you choose any of these authors, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding something!

Can someone help me out with a really good teenage book?
    some really good ones are:

The Maximum Ride Series - James Patterson

To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee

Be More Chill - Ned Vizzini

Tuesdays With Morrie - Mitch Albom

The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold

The Twilight Series - Stephanie Meyer

Memoirs Of A Geisha - Arthur Golden

    . . .

that's about all i can think of right now but a really good site to go to to find a bunch of books that are recommended for teens is:

    www.teenreads.com

well, its more of a fantasy series but it is wonderful, read ';sabriel'; i forgot the author, it might be garth nix, but it is awesome, or if looking to the future, read ';enders game'; and ';enders shadow'; its a pretty interesting series. hope you enjoy
The Lightning Thief stories seems very popular with teenagers, but especially with boys.
Secret Life of Bees By, Sue Monk Kidd.

  • Is carob a good chocolate alternative when you have teenage acne?

Well, while acne can be caused by food allergies, chocolate has been given a bad rap over the years as the cause of pimples. I thought the same thing in my teens, turns out Orange Juice was causing mine. I still can't drink it to this day without having a breakout. It all varies from person to person with our own unique body chemistry. Try slowly eliminating one thing at a time from your diet and keeping track of the results. If your acne persists after cutting something out, it's not that item and you can return that to your diet. Milk is also a large contributor to many peoples skin conditions, that might even be why chocolate gets called out for it. And remember, it's not always food related either. Stress, hormones, and many other factors could be the cause. Good luck, it feels great when you finally beat this problem. Is carob a good chocolate alternative when you have teenage acne?
If you have acne you will have it regardless of if you eat chocolate. Is carob a good chocolate alternative when you have teenage acne?
Just eat the chocolate. Worth it.

I'm a teenage female, and I look really young for my age. What can I do to look older?? please help! ?

I have really bad self-esteem because of this.

thanks!I'm a teenage female, and I look really young for my age. What can I do to look older?? please help! ?
This has a lot to do with how you carry yourself. People who saw my sister and I from a distance thought she looked older, because she portrayed confidence, but once they got to know us they knew I was older. Since then, I've become much more confident and now we look our right ages next to each other. Stand up straight, be yourself, and remember to like and respect yourself before anyone else will like and respect you. All in all, however, there's really nothing WRONG with looking wrong. it's nothing to be ashamed of. when you're in your 40s you might like it!I'm a teenage female, and I look really young for my age. What can I do to look older?? please help! ?
I can understand the whole self-esteem part. I mean, i'm 19 and i look like i'm fifteen. And once i was thought to be 30, which hurt. And the guy thought my dad was my husband. Talk about a 'OMG!' moment. Anyways, don't where clothes that are too young for you or too old. either could be damaging.

But i'd rather be considered young then old, most definatly.
How old are you? Your measurements? Eat, sleep, exercise, and develop positive attitudes, and age will happen in due time. Accept yourself.

I'm a teenage girl and I was wondering what car should I choose?

I'm almost 17 and my parents want to buy me a car because I just got my licence...I'm trying to decide between the 2007 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S or the new Audi Q7...I test drove both and I like the Audi better on the inside but the Porsche is nicer on the outside...what would you do?I'm a teenage girl and I was wondering what car should I choose?
I have a similar problem...except it's my parents. I recently test drove the Audi and it's ******* amazing...it drives better than the Porsche (honestly) and since it's so new, not many people have it and you'll turn heads when you drive down the street. I have the Cayenne Turbo (it's old though...I got it in 2003 right when it came out) and I love it but I'm thinking of the audi as well because it has gotten great reviews and it's cheap too (only like 70 thousand)I'm a teenage girl and I was wondering what car should I choose?
You and your parents are uneducated about cars. The japanese now make some of the safest cars.

get a jeep --learn to be a good driver and then get a Porsche
You know what. You don't want advice. You want to brag. Get a life BRAT!!!!
The Porsche you only get one shot chose the Porsche! :-)
You should get a 3 year old Carola, or a Neon or Civic. Heck they should make you work for it so you won't be spoiled, but then again I'm not your parent.
I think you don't care what people think you just want to look good to internet people you will never meet.

go to collage, get a job. Better yet get a life
Dumb ho..... don't you already have a Pink Corvette you got with your Barbie doll?
You can have any car you want. From the way you describe your question, your parents have the kind of money, the ability to afford anything.

I'm not a teenager anymore and from my driving experience and observations, teenage drivers are very sloppy drivers. The reason I said that is because they think they can drive better than anyone else on the road. They don't know how to drive safely once they get their license.

Look at the crash ratings. They can replace your car, but not your life, but your insured. No life insurance can replace your life once accident happens (it will change your life).
you need help pickin' out your clothes too???
i own a repair shop, and if i was faced with that decision id have to go with the Audi also, like you said its unique, and not many people own it right now,the Porsche,is not as good of a car as it used to be,,the quality of it has fell off in the past few years,i service a lot of foreign cars, and i also test drive a lot, the Audi has always been a favorite one for me ,,because of the handling of the vehicle, and also he reliability of it also,, so i guess my decision would be the Audi,,as far as safety ,and reliability goes it stands up good,,i hope this help,s,
try a honda civic it has a five star crash test rating . you can get one at hadin honda

Why does every teenage girl own a COACH purse?

The only purses I see at my school are coaches! There are probably only 5 Dooney and Bourke pureses and at the most 2 Louis Vuitton purses. Whenever I see a coach purse I get so annoyed because every girl in school has a COACH. What is the big deal?!Why does every teenage girl own a COACH purse?
Awww you cant afford one its okayWhy does every teenage girl own a COACH purse?
they are either fake coach bags or they wear them cuz they cant afford anything better.

Honestly, I remember in highschool I collected Coach bags and no one had them so it was alright. I suppose 100 and up for a purse is expensive FOR HIGHSCHOOL GIRLS and thats why i kept buying them.

Now I prefer Chanel and LV, as Coach quality isnt that great at all and less people wear LV because its 600 and up for a purse.

seems like nowadays i go to the mall i see younger girls wearing fake lvs, coaches like its going out of style.
its just teenage girls trying to 'fit' in.

thats one reason i hated high school cus when something was 'cool' then everyone, even if they didnt know what the heck it meant, was wearing it.

damn wannabes. im so glad im out of high school
i dont know. i dont have one, and i personally see cheaper purses that i think are cuter than those.
No. why do you care yr emo
every girl at my school wears hollister and has sideswept bangs, effing conformists...
i own a coach bag and some coach shoes but i m nawt one of those people who carries it everyday. I never repeat purses in a row. I have like 3 dooney's, 4 louis, mark jacobs, betsey johnson, guccis, and like 7 juicy bags. O and 3 chanels. The chanels and louis are probably my fave . Coach isn't bad though.

I get what you are saying. Some wannabe chicks carry the same coach bag everyday think they are all rich and spoiled. puhlease.
Beacuse so many Teenage Girls want to ';fit in'; so they good out and buy 150 dollar handbags.
because its the ';got to have thing'; its popular and people like to go with the flow plus it cute love the colors
Because they have no personal style.
i don't have one, so u can't say everybody. in my opinion, coach is ugly. I prefer Louis V. But I don't have that either bcuz y wud a 14, 15,16, 17 year old need a $500 purse for? It's just going to get as easily messed up as a $30 one.
hardly anyone does at my school mostly dooney and bourke

my friend missed my bday party cause she waz out of town and she emailed me saying sorry and that she didn't get me a gift but got herself a new coach purse. thats wat she told me. i mean come on jeesh

    sorry
    FAKE
To add to the general confusion and hubbub of school life.
I don't have one. Who needs a designer purse anyway? I got one for 12.99 and it's lasted me for so long. And it's cute too. Who cares if people can afford a purse that has some logo on it. Besides, I'll bet half those girls don't buy it with their own money.
lol i have never had a coach, i used to use a chanel bag
I've never understood the attraction to expensive purses, In my opinion they look just like the ones you see for 10 bucks at target, If I carry a purse it's just something cute I picked up really cheap my default bag is this awsome Bayside messenger bag I picked up off of their merch site on sale.
i dont know but i dont really like coach purses that much... there to oexpensive and besides i dont carry a purse around at skool anyway
i have one! theyre so FREGGIN ADORABLE!
coach purses are really cheap so everyone has one. i have 5 louis vuittons so im different from most people
i don't have a coach. i think everyone has one cause it's cheap, a lot cheaper that LV. i prefer juicy and Linea Pelles, and vintage chanel bags i think they're cuter or just totes. not a big fan of coach.
i chose coach because i love the colors that they offer. also they have lots of accessories to match.

i didnt get a coach purse in high school. i worked my *** off after my senior year to buy it. $216 later...and i still have it. and it still looks new.

    love it.
They are cheaper then LV, but not as cheap as Dooney and Bourke---and there is a Coach store in every popular mall.

I wish these girls would get into Marc Jacobs or Stella McCartney, but that's highly doubtful.
cause coach is cuter and not as expensive

    =]
I PREFER A MILLION TIMES MY ROCAWEAR PURSES THAN ANY OTHER BRAND PURSE....
i just got one because it was a nock-off for $22.00 and looks real and its pink my fav color =)
Personally, I don't like Coach or Dooney and Burke. A lot of people have those bags right now.

If I'm going to have an expensive handbag, it'd be Marc Jacobs, or Chloe. The style of the bags looks nicer and better quality. Too bad I don't have enough money to actually purchase it.

Well, by ';teen'; do you mean 18-19? Or do you mean legally ';underage'; teen from 13-17? If you're looking for 19-19 then there's plenty of choices, including true.com. • Why do some men look and make comments to teenage girls?

its gross im talking about men in like their late 20s 30s 40s an so on...

please answer me why some of you men have this desire to look at such young girls and think inappropriate thoughts about them and make comments to some of them..Why do some men look and make comments to teenage girls?
Because teenagers are hotter than senior citizens....Why do some men look and make comments to teenage girls?
what thoughts are not really allowed to be shared with people who know better than to appear in over the top style;exp. too sexual. it isn't proper to reveal so much personal truth. men of all ages can see that females desire to be seen as wanted,at least by only those men they dress to seek out and attract as sexual partners.there is more to men than just sexual thoughts about women.some men are just tired of the show and no heart.
Because they are pedophiles. They usually become this way because of problems in their childhood
For me being a teenage girl, I can tell you that men do look ALL THE TIME. Honestly it can be very annoying, but in a way it is more like a power rush. I think that even though, yes, testosterone is a big part of why men look, i think it is because they can sense when a woman is wanting to be admired and adored or when women themselves are filled with lust. What girl doesn't want to feel attractive? I like it when boys look, but they can't touch unless I say so. Even when older men do it is is kinda nice, but they DEFINATELY should keep their distance. I think that men do what they do because it makes them feel younger. It shows that if they can get a young girl, they still got it.
Men are loaded with testosterone, which is the fuel for the human sex drive.
ugh I know! maybe they think they're still young
    child bearing age = attractive

How do I help my sis relax about her teenage son's ';discovery';?

My sis called me today all upset because she found some magazines in her sons bedroom. (He is 12 almost 13) and she found a Victorias Secret %26amp; a Maxim under his pillow. She is totally freaking out! I tried to tell her it is a normal age %26amp; almost all boys do this. She thinks he is too young, and even tho I agree that the Maxim material is a bit too crass %26amp; sexual, I dont think she should confront %26amp; embarass him. I told her if she does not want him reading this mag, her husband shouldnt have it in the house. What can I say to calm her down, and what should I tell her to say to her son. I know they have had ';the talk'; and seem pretty open about discussing sex, and I am afraid if she embarrasses him, he may not come to her in the future. Help! How do I help my sis relax about her teenage son's ';discovery';?
I have three boys, and I've been through this with two of them. The maturity level is the key. My oldest son was mature for his age so when I found those magazines in his room, my only response was ';don't let your younger brother see them';. That was our only issue. Your friend should talk to her son. Even if they act all embarrassed and try to shut her up, the topic has been opened. Her son will talk to someone, or he'll mention something to prod his parents into talking to him. Tell her to just open the door and he will eventually walk through. How do I help my sis relax about her teenage son's ';discovery';?
don't worry about it to much. Its a guy thing. At least she knows hes not gay right? just kidding lol but she needs to have a male or father talk to him about it. Its nothing to be embarrassed about but she can really screw things up if she goes at it wrong
I think mommy is just upset that her little boy is growing up. It's not easy. And as far as the Maxim? Chances are the school probably passed them out. Really! Besides. Isn't it better that he have them available then to find out he's ';active'; and not protected? At least he's smart about it. I worked at a store and one of my son's friends came in and purchased them. He apologized to me cause I was his friend's mother. I told him that I would rather check him out with them then to find out that he got aids without them. Suddenly he just shook his head and said...your right. It wasn't my job to criticize. Only to check him out and give him a receipt. He felt good about himself, told me goodbye and to have a nice nite. I told him same thing. We laughed and that was it. I didn't know what else to say but hey. If they are gonna do it then at least let them do it right. She's better off just letting it go. Tell her to chill and to complain to you so that it doesn't make her head blow off. She'll calm down in time. I did. I was panic stricken.
Tell her exactly what you just said. It is normal. As a matter of fact my 13 year old cousin was caught on the internet with persons doing different sexual things. Remember this is 2007

not 1950 the tecnology is better and kids learn faster. Let the course of life go on. The worst thing is to confront him on his behavoir. You never know he may turn out to be a person of reason. Take no action. Please, this will only embarras him.
Your sister should just chill out before she says something really stupid. My son discovered himself this past summer and he became more careful around his sister and me. I told him to come to me or his dad if there was anything he needed answered and he came to me 2 times already and i did my best to answer him open and honest and he is OK with him self and your newphew is not to young
no need to get all bent out of shape over magazines
your advise sounds perfect!!!! good job
i've somewhat of the same problem,it's just teenage hormones
her boy is smart because he knows he can get victoria secret magaeans but not playboy hes samart
tell her to let go of her son, she will be giving him teddy bears when he is 21. your lucky he is not in gang, smoking, drugs, and/or alcohol. tell her what he might be doing in stead of what he is doing now. My friends have men mag's in there room. I see cross dressers in my school. and boys buying from Victoria's secret ( some are guy but most buy it for there girl friend). may be he needs to find out what his dream girl is. Trust me my step dad talks about his life all the time, what what your nephew is doing is very mild to what my step dad did.
You are going in the right direction. She should not embarass him about the magazines. At his age I was ';enjoying'; the underwear ads in the Sears catalog. He is at that age. If your sister knew what the kids discussed at school she would probably keep him home. Good luck with your sister, you seem to have the correct approach.
say at least its not ';hustler'; honey

hey now you dont need to give him the ';talk

    he knows what sex IS

    so thats good.

at thirteen I lost my virginity,

    so say hes actually MILD
you should have her tell her son that it is natural, and all boys get curious at some age, around 13, and it isnt wrong to ';discover'; new things. she should say also that its not a healthy habit, but everyone has their urges.
The most important thing is not to shame him. If she shames him he wont come to her for anything and he'll be embarasses about stuff like that. At least it was her son and it wasnt her little brother like me....
    Sounds like puberty to me!

he is probably looking at them prior to or during masturbation which is quite normal for that age of boy. Those are really tame compared to most.

I managed to find my brother's playboy mags when I was starting with that. I think I was 11-12. I'm very normal and raised two kids who are, so That is just a normal and biologically neccessary thing for boys to do. Some look at pictures while and others don't, most do if they can find them.

I would leave him alone and have dad retrieve his magazine and put them up better next time. The catalog is in good taste and he is starting to look at girls so, I think it is fine.
Ask her how old SHE was the first time she did a little self-exploration.
