Putting boys on the ledge
Well i read a book not long ago called Mr Maybe by Jane Green..i thought this was a very good book. i think it is sort of a comedy romance sort of book. A Lady in her 20s or something decides to just have a ';no strings attached'; sort of relationship so she doesnt get hurt, but she becomes somewhat serious with one hot guy, but when that breaks off she goes out with the complete opposit type, a rich posh older man...however she cant seem to get over the first man. The way i have described it probably doesnt sound good, but trust me it is :)..I am also reading another one of Jane Greens books called Bookends. This is also good as far as i have read :) hope i helped..x
JK Rowling

Cassandra Clare

Stephenie Meyer

Richelle Mead

Rachel Caine

I'd suggest that if she already read twilight (which I'm sure she did) you should get her City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (it's part of a trilogy, the 2nd book being City of Ashes, and the 3rd and last- City of Glass, comes out in March), it has both romance and adventure, I loved it and I'm sure she will too.

Happy Holidays =)
Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer

Great and Terrible Beauty

Down the Rabbit Hole

Through the Looking Glass

These are some great books/series. I've read them all and I am also a fan of adventure stories (not so much romantic). If she hasn't read the Twilight series, you should definitely get her the first book or two.

She writes the Clique series. The girls in the book are in the eighth grade, well, it started when they were in the seventh but they are very good books.
