Well, if you are remodeling your room completely, then you should start with the bedding or wall color first. I would say start with the bedding. Then, after the bedding, pick all your accesories that match. For example, green and blue match. So I would paint my walls a light blue and hten the accents would be all shades of green and all shades of blue.
If you like a particular store, and you like shopping, I would suggest hanging up shopping bags on one wlal of your room. Also, if you have a shirt with a name brand on it or just a really cute shirt that you want to throw out, hten cut out some of hte cute designs and put it on your pillow.
