The girls were walking down when a group of muslim men came and said their skirts were too short. They threw acid on the back of their legs .

They were of a medium length--they covered the thighs to the knees.

Religious fundamentalists of any religion are a danger to society.
1. No man is the judge of others, hence no matter what the girls were wearing (or not wearing), is no ones business but their own.





2. Those men are to be punished for destroying the lives of some innocent people. No mercy. I condemn their actions.

It is not like men wear walking down the street, with a bottle of acids and the girls were 'coincidentally' were passing by. Their heinous crime was planned from before, hence severe punishment is due to them seriously.





Islam teaches tolerance, as those men were not practising it themselves, i don't think they are moslems.
Firstly, every one is responsible for their own actions and there is no compulsion in religion.





These girls may be better in belief then the ones who cover. The men could have caused scarring to the girls legs which will stay with them permanently. If the men had an issue then they should have advised them with kindness since such malicious acts can cause hostility.
i think this is very wrong i am an aythest therefore i am not of a religion my point of view on this is please dont take it offensivley is that the muslim women are treated very unfairly. Do you think if they were christian the headline would be ';Two christian girls attacked by group of christian men';, or the Baby P case ';White baby killed by christian step dad'; and we'd all be shaking our heads saying ';tut, i dont trust those christians'; as if thats the important thing. Of course we wouldnt. So why do we have to highlight here the fact they were muslim? Horrific things like this happen in all places, it has little to do with their faith, more to do with the fact these particular men are a group of psychopathic monsters

Obviously it is a different culture and I do not understand this way of thinking because I live in America with different beliefs. In any form of humanity though, I'd say it should be wrong to outright attack someone whether it be with fist, foot, acid etc.

i am a muslim i dress modestly and wear hijab but i think this is very very wrong. Islam does not under any circumstance promote this sort of action. Allah has the best punishment for wht they did.

My view on it is those young boys had no right to do that, those girls have fathers who are there disciplinarians not strangers. Even if they wanted to point out to them your skirts are too short, still its inexcusable for them to disfigure those girls, that is a total sin in Islam. Its disgusting. In Turkey there are belly dancers and girls where short skirts and tea shirts everywhere, Turkish girls and Turkish men drinking alcohol and have tattoo's sleeping with British women twice there age, are those boys going to go spray those men with acid also? I strongly doubt it.


Its sheer cowardis.....Turkey is not a country where all Muslim girls dress modestly and the picture of those two girls in the link hardly look more than 12 or 13. How dare they, I hope they are found and prosecuted! That is my view!

Me and my best friend used to be friends with these muslims and we used to go in their resturant all the time but her mum said stay away cause apparantely they throw hot oil over people.
